Cold, no direction on ordering, table nhs check in failed,,new cup every refill? Waited so long my food was cold,,,

Called prior to arrival to see if we could book a table. The person on the phone said they do not reserve tables (which wasn't an issue). He also said they were very quiet and had lots of tables spare. When we arrived, there was a few tables spare but were heavily piled with dirty plates. We sat down and ordered off the app. Our food took ages to arrive and our drinks even later. The drinks were in dirty glasses so my wife asked for a clean glass. 2 plates had came and we had to wait another 10 minutes for a third which was cold and the chicken was hard. My wife politely asked for a replacement and another 10 minutes later, we got fresh food. After we had eaten we had noticed an extra guest with us. There was a slug on the wall next to our children. Luckily we spotted this after food as I don't think they would have eaten a thing being sat next to it. Don't think we will go back again.

Waitress rude no eye contact and marched off before could complain. Carling flat. No mustard or vinegar for steak and chips. Better place in town to eat than the chains

Arrived at the pub (Reed Arms) at a very busy time. Fortunately found a vacant table and ordered our food and drinks using their app. It would have been a perfect solution if all the drinks could have been ordered but my lime and soda was not on the app so I still had to go to the bar to get it. Not the end of the world though! Food came quite quickly and was nice and the service was good. This was our second visit and will come back again.

Terrible experience. Staff rude, no one following social distance, staff not advising anyone what to do. Walked out of pub in end as do not appreciate being spoken to so rudely by staff.
