A wonderful stay. Such a lovely inn, full of character and charm. We stayed in a huge room overlooking the quaint high street running through this idyllic village. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, delicious food (both dinner and breakfast) and friendly staff. Good covid .measures in place.

We stopped off here for lunch and what a treat it was. Firstly the old country pub is so cosy and welcoming and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We both couldn't resist the battered Haddock and chips which were Gluten Free and served with small cute portions of Mushy Peas, Curry Sauce and Tartar sauce. The chips were enormous and crispy and the fish was succulent and super hot with a lovely crunchy batter.

We chose this hotel based on good reviews and they were entirely justified. We had a very warm welcome, the room was immaculately clean and comfortable and the food /drink served in the pub downstairs was really good. Thank you, so pleased we visited.

After a lovely long walk we arrived here and had some nice cold drinks with our immediate family. Worth a visit. Will be back soon.
