We visited for the Thursday night quiz night and we were incredibly happy with the experience. The pub layout, staff and consideration to the new rules made us feel incredibly safe. Staff were all following the 1m with mitigation rule and we saw several members or staff cleaning throughout the evening. We ordered using the app which was very fast and efficient. All food and drinks were brought to the table by helpful and cautious staff. Well done The Bell! We will be very happy to return!

Food was really nice and with covid rules the staff did really well BUT the reason for 3 stars is the menu, tuesday big plate meals £5 then in very small print its only about 5 out of 20 big meals that are in the offer and as you don't pay till you leave you might get a unwanted surprise at the till.

We enjoyed our meal today service was excellent very friendly young man feel that we are in safe hands it a shame it's has to close down again but when it reopen we will book our table again thanks Hunger Horse 🐴 we will be back x
