The Preston hotel served great food and the bar offers a variety of gins to sample. The staff have worked very hard to make it a covid safe space and always follow the Government rules as they develop and change. They have decorated the bar reception area beautifully for Christmas. There is always a friendly welcome there and they have live entertainment there on a Saturday. This has become my new regular haunt to have a fab meal with friends and enjoy the entertainment.
We booked a room over the phone for a funeral we were attending. Pleasant staff made it easy to arrange booking and were very helpful.
On arrival we were greeted and shown to our room, which was very clean and tidy. Covid 19 procedures were in place and easy to adapt to.
Overall, a clean tidy hotel with clean room and helpful staff. Would use again without hesitation.
Initially checked into Room 3 single room which was a bit small. But upgraded to Room 4, Double room, which was very nice. The dining room is closed for breakfast, but the kitchen does a very good cooked takeaway breakfast which you can take upto your room.
We needed to organise a wake at short notice and Preston Hotel dealt with our needs, proffesional giving us a personal service. They laid out the room and memorial table beautifully and supplied a wonderful delish buffet, giving us a peaceful place to reflect and celebrate my fathers life. Thank you
