Great location, most rooms were as expected apart from room 1 which was hideous. I had a kid that got stuck in the toilet there was no-one at reception to help and both landline and mobile numbers that we were given at check-in were invalid numbers (true story) and to top it all the alarm went off every 5 hours so severely disturbed sleep. This was a last minute booking as we had to stay within walking distance somewhere close by. Will not stay there again unless there is evidence of overhaul.
RUDEST PLACE EVER!!
took my money then DEMADED double pay because "accident price uploaded" while trying to sort it out on the phine the bloke kept tekling me to "shhh" then bloody HUNG UP THE PHONE!!!! rude vile people and theifs.
I guess the carpet is here since 1915 they never clean it. Very cheaper price.
The place was so sketchy, even just from first impressions. Staff were rude, there was a foul smell, the place was visibly run down and filthy. Felt unsafe in the area to the point that we stayed for around 5 minutes before leaving. Was offered another place to stay that was supposedly up to greater standards, but if this location says anything about their standards of acceptable living space, I doubt it would have been up to par. Seems very cheap, and it's understandable why. In fact, its overpriced. Look for a hostel or a warm looking bush instead of this place.
Friendly staff, easy to check in and for check out all I needed to do was leave my key in the room which was extremely convenient. The room wasn't 100% clean, a few cobwebs here and there but it was a good price for one night and I was only there to sleep so that didn't bother me too much. Perfect location if you're travelling for a concert at the o2 Academy as it's within 5 minutes walking distance.
