Wonderful little camping and caravan site. We'll kept site with fantastic staff overlooking it volunterally. Toilets showers and kitchen areas clean and well equipped. Hot water available with tokens, drinking water free of charge. Mark was very helpful and attentive making sure all campers were having a good holiday. The children in our party were welcomed and Mark and his partner were really kind allowing them to paint pebbles, tidy the fairy garden and collect sticks around the site. We were given a warm welcome, as we were a party of 3 families we were place in the members area at the end of the site which was perfect for us. There is a road by the site but it didn't bother us at all, behind us was the lake which you can walk around and fish from. Absolutely beautiful with a wide range of birds and bugs to spot. We didn't visit the pub on this visit, however it was conveniently located next door. The camping site is family and dog friendly, you can have fire pits as long as they are raised with a slab under it. It is a very relaxing place to spend a weekend with friend and family. We would recommend and revisit in the future.

This is my favourite campsite so far, the owners go above and beyond for people staying. They are very friendly and make you feel more then welcome. We will probably be back in the next couple weeks. The facilities are well looked after, cleaned every day and always have more then enough toilet roll. Showers are there if needed and water and a washing up station. Firepits are allowed if kept off the ground and there is wood for you if you need. (from Emma and Liam in the orange merc vito 😁)
