We ate here for my birthday on Friday just gone, and the food was a surely delicious! Huge portions (and I'm a big eater), freshly cooked and really delicious. I had the cod fillet and almost couldn't finish my plate. My husband has the beer battered fish and chips and the batter was so fresh and crispy. My son has a severe dairy allergy, and the staff and chef were only too happy to accommodate his beds. Lovely beer garden, right next to the river. Dog friendly. All round lovely village pub.

Got to be said that this village pub is a little gem. In this time of uncertainty they still continue with their excellent service when it comes to making sure your treated with the upmost professionalism and safety. I placed my order over the phone the day before, and picked it up the following day at the allotted time(please see details, this also included drinks) I was greeted at the main side door, and followed the guide lines, my food was brought to me by the chef. The food was EXCELLENT, and well worth a return visit.

Excellent takeaway tonight. Delicious fish and chips and lasagne - all home cooked. Such a treat after a busy week at work and able to get this during lock-down. Highly recommend!

Lovely pub, great service. The food and drink were great quality and reasonably priced. The room was good for BnB standards. Very comfortable. Had worse nights sleep in 4star hotels. Definitely would re visit.

Lovely pub, visited midweek so, service was very good and, food was fab! Extensive menu and good beers. Well worth a visit
