Fantastic camp site, great facilities and wonderful staff. The hike around the lake is lovely, even in the pouring rain and the view of the night sky is incredible. Dave who runs the site couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was too much to ask for. As well as making sure we had everything we needed on site he also gave us a plethora of information about other locations in the area that we could visit depending on what we wanted to do for the day. I can't recommend this place enough. Special thanks to Alice for giving us some salt and saving my stew!

This campsite could be amazing. The facilities are good, with hot showers and easy access to the lake. But unfortunately they have totally underestimated how much space a tent needs You are packed in like sardines. So much so you have to whisper so that the rest of the site doesn’t join in your conversation!

Love this place.. I wouldn't plan on taking a walk around the whole thing though..

Been visiting for 6 years with (now) 9 year old daughter and her friends. Safe, quiet, and just look at the stars about 3 in the morning!! Great for waters ports too

Good site overall but the camp site warden was a knob for no reason a number of times. Still a great location
