Nice relaxing place, near by town Minehead is one day good trip, lots of bars and restaurants, harbour and gardens
Beautiful cottage with great hosts. In a very rural area on a working farm. Beautiful Views. Can't fault it at all
Perfect spot for a short break away from it all and a warm welcome from Denise on our arrival. Countryside walks are literally on the doorstep or a few minutes driving along quiet country lanes gives access to picturesque views of Exmoor and the coast. The Cowshed is really spacious but still feels cosy and there are lots of home comforts as well as some nice luxuries - toiletries, towels, robes, slippers. Not a lot of space for hanging clothes, so perhaps not ideal for a longer stay. Cooking facilities are also limited to a microwave & toaster and although there is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses, there was only a very small breakfast table and stools - no dining table, so if you want anything more than a light breakfast or tv dinner you will want to venture out. Lots of useful local information is provided. (The nearby Raleghs Cross Inn was very friendly and fed us really well.)
