Staff friendly, portions big and they were open after 8pm which seems rare in these parts? My only negative is our burgers were raw inside....Being a hungry boy and not a food inspector, I had almost finished mine before I noticed, but my wife had spotted hers after the first forkfull! We had filled up on the starters anyway which were great, but a disappointing end! We didn't complain as we had eaten enough anyway, plus they were pretty busy and had kindly fitted us in even though fully booked! Probably would give them another try if in the area again!

One of the racesist place still excist bec we drive from devon north and we ware hungery and kids want eat so when we drive pass this pub we seen the bord say food is serving so tought we can eat hear so i parkd the car and went to ask just in case befor i take every 1 and thear another family in front of me soon they went they ask how many ppl and took them in and i wait for my turn and i ask if they serving food and the lady on the bar say yes we r but have u book the table when only 5 ppl inside any way i just told her we dont live around we r just passing kids got hungery and we seen bord saying food serving and so we stopd by and it didnt say you need to book table and she say no sorry u have to book table. Sorry we cant serve you so i went out so but if this kind of pubs dont like diffrent cloure pple then they should put on the bord and leave a bill bord saing diffrent race not allowed so we wont stop.

Six of us had an evening meal here tonight and the food was brilliant! Large portions. Good tasty pub grub. It's easy just to drive by, but we'd recommend you make a stop. It's well worth it. The staff are really friendly too which is always something you remember.
