Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were very friendly, professional & polite. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The rooms we booked were spacious, airy & clean. The beds were comfortable & the bathroom was modern & clean too. The full English breakfast was excellent & well presented. A choice of continental was also provided along with cereals & toast etc. The convenience of being close to both the railway & the town centre was very beneficial. All in all, a great place to stay. We would definitely use it again without hesitation.

Popped in because GWR abandoned us without a coach in the middle of a winter storm. Pleasantly surprised. Very helpful staff, clean rooms, very comfy bed and reasonable rate. Great place to stay in Taunton.
This place deserves to be full. Wonderful room, fantastic shower and comfy bed. Full English for a fiver, can't go wrong. No evening meal but great assortment of pubs and restaurants a 2 minute walk. (We went to the Plough) Really warm welcome, excellent.😊😊😊😊😊
