This Swan’s A Keeper: Knew this pub from a few years back. Recently called in, for old-times’ sake. (Turns out they don’t serve Sake) It’s a breath of fresh air. A local, sports-bar pub. Tasteful decor, good selection of drinks, and very positive staff. Alex and his team are to be highly commended - to enter a pub as a stranger, and to be greeted so warmly by each member of staff, and addressed by name by Alex, clearly demonstrates the mark of the man. And of his staff. Everyone comes across so well, you can’t help but immediately warm to them. The locals are friendly, and engaging. I’m sure the pool table is still as good as ever, but it’s currently off limits. Not yet tried the food, but the menus read so appetisingly, I’m sure it won’t be long before I do. Well done to all. These simple steps are how to run and grow a successful pub business. Keep your regulars happy, and encourage newcomers into the fold. If the Queen does own all the swans, she can be rightly proud of this one. Cheers Ma’am!

grumps burgers and dogs takeaway. Arrived in the hour, really nice burgers! Not dripping with grease. Will have to try more next time!

Brilliant time here. Very covid safe and following guidelines. Very clear on when last orders were and exiting times. The manager (forger his name) was wonderful and attentive. Also grumpys food was excellent!

Well done to the staff and management covid rules were all in place, it felt a safe and pleasant place to have a drink .
