Basecamp Wales (Snowdonia)

Great location with all attractions close. Has everything you could need in the kitchen/common room and is very clean. I had a single room that was large clean and had a comfy bed with fresh smelling linen and towels. Shared toilets were clean and the showers were boiling hot. It's near a village that has a co-op, pub and variety of takeaways. Thanks guys.

Couldn't be any more perfect! Location 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, Facilities 10/10! Tim and Tom who run the place are brilliant. Stayed here 4 nights with my Wife and 2 year old, he fed the animals every morning and every night, splashed in the stream and ran around the fields. Cant wait to come back and explore more of north wales!

£99 in a quad room. This hostel had no facilities like TV in the room, toiletries, hair dryer, tea and coffee making in the room and since it's a hostel no breakfast made for you but use of their kitchen. Quality of accommodation was very poor so if you like even half decent do not book here. For me it was a big mistake as I could not find anything closer and all the decent places were full due to the bank Holiday weekend. As soon as we entered it was smelly, carpets dirty and I am sure never have been professionally carpet cleaned with extractor, this is a must every 6 months. In the room cheapest of cheap beds, mattresses, a joke of a cupboard, a very very old bathroom. Their whole business model is cheap stay overs so cheap rooms set ups and extract as much money as possible. Urgent need of renovation and reinvestment in their business to be able to justify the prices they charge. It's crazy how you can call yourself a hostel to get away with murder. Just because they are classed as a hostel they can get away with everything I have mentioned above. The cheap and nasty furniture and fittings, the horrible smell in the whole building, the dirty carpets and the dirty old bathroom. And you can't just paint bright colours to make the place look half decent. I really couldn't wait till the morning to get out of that dump. Never again. £200 in two rooms rip off.

Amazing price . Lovely clean rooms and great service from the 2 lads rhat run this place . Shared kitchen area is a large size and very well organised. Got a very large chill out area too. Will definitely be back!
