The setting is a delightful, period city centre hotel; grand, luxurious decor with a timeless quality.
But what truly makes this place special though are the staff. Service was nothing less than warm, considerate, friendly.
There was very little we could want for, and for the staff to juggle the additional restrictions with maintaining the very high standards of customer interaction and support is, without doubt a talent.
Well done to everyone. I will not hesitate to stay here at every opportunity.
We had a really good stay. Wonderful room (25) with a view of the cathedral. Great restaurant for dinner..excellent steak. Breakfast just as good.
Good value, friendly and welcoming staff, comfy room with en suite, satisfying breakfast, a cosy lounge bar area to relax down. The hotel is well situated to explore the city centre and with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars just outside the front door.
Generally quite good. Staff really nice and very helpful. Room felt a bit tired.
Friendly staff and not as expensive as first thought.
