Gill the owner is fantastic and very knowledgeable regarding the surrounding areas. Good choice of breakfast and evening meal by arrangement. Amber House is ideally situated for the National Memorial Arboretum and would be an ideal place for Veterans to stay.

This lady found me a room when the hotel i was in closed Great room and as i was working nights cooked me breakfast before i went to bed at 7 am x then had a meal for me before i left for work at six pm JUST WONDERFUL

Gill has been an absolute god send over the last 2.5 weeks. She has welcomed an elderly gentleman in to her BnB with open arms and gone out of her way to cater for his every need, I honestly don't know what I would have done without her hospitality, generosity and genuine care and consideration. She is an outstanding lady, with a beautiful, welcoming BnB, home-made food and a room for whatever your need. This BnB is the only BnB you should stay in when visiting the area. Gill, I cannot thank you enough.

Booked room on there own Web site. Turned up and there was no body there.. Went round next door said they were away.. Tried to call no body answering. So booked into a travelodge. When finally after a week contacted the proprietor who only gave us back 70 pounds of the 112 pounds out pocket. And said she was a way there was note on door how to get in.. It was pitch black at night we didn't even know about this. AVIOD this B&B... Plus to get out of this B@B you have drive for miles down the A38 to come back up north bound....
