Perfection. I have stayed in dozens of B&B's and this is far the best. You could spend all day trying to find fault and not find anything. The breakfast was simply magnificent. The garden is better than most country houses and if the top standard. Well kept, pretty and 2 1/2 acres, with sun lounges as well. And excellent value for money. Lastly, best bed ever.
Christmas Day Dinner was excellent. The food and service both 10 / 10. And a great atmosphere to match. Last year was good, but they stepped it up this year. Well done!
Great place for private dining for between 8 & 20 people. Take your own drinks. Need to book well in advance (sometimes several weeks). Can ask for specific items to appear on the menu, check with restaurant to make sure this is ok for your visit. Not open ever day so check, sittings at 1pm & 8pm.

We booked this very last minute as we were seeing friends in the area. I don’t normally write reviews but I have taken time out to say this is a truly magnificent place to stay. We rated this higher than some of the large five star hotels we have stopped in throughout the UK. Highly Highly Recommended!
A beautiful place to stay with a host in Simon who makes the experience of staying even better. The location is perfect for visits to Stoke on Trent and there are a host of great local pubs to eat at within 20 minutes. Breakfast was ideal and would recommend the oatcakes! Would love to stay again.
