Definitely 5*, was amazing long weekend and honestly best place we have ever stayed so relaxing with the hot tub and the extras included such as the fresh eggs, bread and milk etc made it even better! There's so much to do and so many places to eat out; we went to Chester Zoo for the day and ate out at a lovely Italian and Indian but there's also plenty of facilities in your cottage to make your own and the tea room was lovely for breakfast, throughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return in the future!
Really nice accommodation, the hot tub was very welcome after some lovely walks in the area.
Have been staying in the one of the a cottages for a month while waiting for a house to go through. Cottage perfect, has all amenities needed plus a great welcome package. Outside jacuzzi which wasn't on with it being late autumn but would be lovely in the hot weather. The owner Jane is so nice and provided us with clean bedding and towels each week. If we were moving away I would definitely stay here to visit our family.
We loved Woodside Cottage such a lovely location easy to find and hosts very welcoming. The little extras i.e bread eggs etc was very thoughtful. the cottage was very clean and loved the decor. information booklets available and lots of lovely walks in the surrounding areas. Also the local pubs were very welcoming and a lovely Sunday dinner in the Hand and Trumpet. The Hot Tub was great and lovely to relax in after a long walk.
Stayed at the cottage for a bank holiday weekend. Lovely cottage with welcome basket on arrival with eggs, milk, bread, tea etc. The grounds are beautiful along with the stunning classic country village. Would definitely recommend.
