We visited the wool shop and cafe yesterday. We had a lovely warm welcome in both. I have purchased some beautiful wool and buttons, then we visited the cafe. The kids had lovely homemade cakes whilst we shared the homemade hummous which was freshly made and amazing. Hubby had a locally brewed IPA which he adored and I had a beautiful coffee. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you. 💕

Lovely cafe tucked just off the main tourist road down to the castle. Good range of lunch options, cakes & desserts. All of us had sandwiches made to order which were tasty, as was the coffee & milkshakes. Coconut walnut brownie was fairly good (had better) but rating of it boosted by the enormity of the portion. Lots of outdoor seating.

Well most of my trip to north wales was lovely, testing loads of places to eat but this has to be the worst on the list. said this in a previous review that Harlech is a beautiful place but some of the business really bring the others down and this does not help out. Bit of a waste as it is a vegan shop and is priced way too highly. I wouldn't mind if the quality was there but bog standard bread on the sandwiches and nothing special about the coffee's. Not impressed but had a lovely ice cream from up the road after.

COVID safe??. Had to ask 3 times to get table wiped. This was done without any spray. Another customer asked for table cleaning and that was done with window cleaner! Very quiet day with probably more staff than customer.

We stopped at Harlech Castle to see magnificent building (closed until Aug 1st) then had lunchtime menu at Wilderness Cafe. Great food and really nice coffees. Enjoyed experience so much we all popped in again for breakfast the following morning. All really tasty, only a small grip was poached eggs not runny yolk. ( Can't have perfection all the time) Outside eating area in view of Castle walls over nearby house. Quiet location set back from main road. Friendly and efficient staff. Helped to make this a fantastic holiday.
