The hotel public areas are stunning. Breakfast was great and waitresses currently working very hard without the buffet system. We didnt eat that the hotel but other guests did tell us the food was good. Spa was bookable for 1hour slot in current covid climate, worked well. Pool and jacuzzi open.
Massive gin selection at the bar.
Room was clean, my only complaint would be a tired mattress (we walked so much I slept anyway) and shower not very powerful. There are currently building works in adjoining hotel, did not affect us at all. We were glad for a nice break and sun was shining in Bournemouth all week so thankyou Connaught.

We had the vauxhall room and it was spacious with a lovely shower
It is a hoax, we canceled the reservation the same day of arriving at the hotel, the same thing happened to other guests. Is a gotcha. Seeing that the hotel was full they decided to raise prices and cancel the rooms that had paid less. We have ruined the trip.
