Firstly the room was filthy, carpets looked like they hadn't seen a hoover for months, toilets had hair and toothpaste stains over the taps, kettle had what looked like bits of food stuck in the filter. Asked to change rooms, hoping that the cleaner had just had a bad day in our previous one! So changed rooms no problem, still not as clean as I'd expect but better, and after a 7 hour drive, we just wanted to relax. Once trying to go to sleep we noticed a horrendous noise behind our heads, every 5 minutes this noise was going off, it was the boiler room right next to us! Then finally managed to get to sleep and our neighbours were in and out of their room, slamming doors, being as a noisy as they can. The next day, no one at reception, called reception and mobile number left at reception throughout the day with no answer. I wanted my money back as I paid to stay 2 nights but only stayed the 1 as it was that awful, the 7 hour drive back was more preferable!
Excellent place to stay free parking would have no problem staying again
Nice cheap place to stay for Alton Towers, basic room with food and drink needs met by the services.
Absolutely disgusting. Smelt moldy, bathroom was filthy. Walked in and walked straight out.Avoid at all cost!!
Good customer service and staff are friendly. It would be better if the breakfast was free. McDonald's next door.
