Fieldhouse Bed & Breakfast

As I entered the venue, it appeared that two escort girls left with an expression of worry on their face. They got chased out by a King Charles spaniel and a rageful ungroomed male screaming "we're not through yet". The dog was carrying a questionable "toy" that only adults would use; while the man had a coat hanger, camcorder and videotape in his hand. It was a disturbing sign of the night to come. . The room was adequate, but I was perplexed to see they still had a VCR. Who on earth uses videotapes? Worryingly, the sheets appeared to have a faint red stain in one corner. I hope it wasn't from the night before. The food menu came from a restaurant called "Dorsia"; placed under a "reserved" table sign. Obscure, to say the least! . It was hard getting to sleep as I got placed in the room below this strange man. However, I was kept up all night by the sound of "Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis and News, along with Phil Collins and Robbie Williams on an endless loop until 4 am. How depressing! . When I spoke to the owner about the upstairs resident, she insisted on calling me "Marcus Halberstram", stating her son was staying there. She presented me with one of his business cards. I really couldn't care less over the fact that he was some ageing yuppie with a mergers and acquisitions job in The City, but couldn't help thinking to myself "Look at that subtle off white colouring, The tasteful thickness to it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark". I felt weak inside and couldn't bear to hold it any more. . The crazy man returned in sunglasses to make conversation and do a crossword at the breakfast table before I left. The remains of a white powder in his facial hair were apparent. Ironically, he rambled about his morning facial routine and bragged how he could now do 1000 stomach crunches. I found that hard to believe given how fat he was. After a meandering and incoherent call to his lawyer, I asked him what he did in The City; he rudely darted off, screaming: "I have to return some videotapes". Very peculiar. . There is an idea of a Fieldhouse B&B. Some kind of abstraction, but there is no refuge at this B&B. Once you peel away the mask, there is nothing; just living hell.

Very pleasant stay with very helpful staff

This is a nice place to stop off for a drink as part of an evening. There is a good selection of drinks and the staff were great.
