It's a very good hotel and the kids think it's fantastic, but it is overpriced.
Great rooms and buffet breakfast. Hotel was nice and clean. Rooms were clean and bathroom was spotless.
Fantastic experience even during a pandemic. Friendly staff and clear instructions and signage. The park was limited in numbers which meant we rode on everything we wanted to in the day we were there. Food in park and restaurant was of good quality. Even Thomas land shops had some great deals for souvenirs for the kids. Would very much recommend.
Room was nice, food in the hotel was really really horrible, family’s were waiting 45 mins for food shocking the prices were no match to the standard of food I would never stay there a again the park it self is really good, my 7 year old girl could only go on baby rides she wasn’t happy so please look and make sure your child is tall enough to go on the rides Thomas land was great but again only younger kids my lad age 10 loved it as he is tall enough to go on all rides, on the park the food is vile please take your own don’t make the same mistake we did on the up side the donuts were great, so probably give this park a miss, better park out there for younger kids who are below 1.2 meters tall
This is purely a review on hotel not theme park.
The beds were super hard to sleep on i couldn't sleep the two nights I was there.
We then had an electricity fault which meant we were upgraded the second night
Which I thought great the beds would be better
Nope, worse if anything.
The breakfast was just cheap sausages. The steak we paid £21 for wasn't worth it. Our bill came to over £100.
We ended up the second night instead of eating here going to a local pub called longwood in, they had better sausages then the hotel nice food and the bill was half the price so worth the 5 minute drive.
We weren't told on the phone or arrival that the hotel doesn't accept cash payments and half the park! Which could have been communicated multiple times to us.
