Woodbridge Meadow Lodges

Currently here at Cornflower Lodge (the Aldeburgh lodge type) and we can’t recommend highly enough! From before we’d arrived Lisa, the site manager, and Justin, the owner, couldn’t do enough to help us, from patiently talking through lodge types, to explaining other queries. When we arrived Lisa met us herself with a wonderful bottle of fizz and birthday card for my husband, as I’d mentioned when booking this was a treat for him. From this initial lovely meeting we were at home and realised we were somewhere very special! The lodge itself is immaculate; high spec equipment and gadgets, luxury marble kitchen and bathrooms, all amenities you could need from bottle openers to coffee pods to Bluetooth speakers to a fab wine fridge...it really has everything. The thought and attention to detail is apparent - we stay in luxury properties 4 or 5 tines per year so understand the vast difference between rentals and can honestly say this is one of the best, if not the best. The furnishings and decor are just fabulous, with high quality fixtures and fittings and even touches like dimmer spotlights to make evenings more atmospheric. The deck is west facing so watching glorious sunsets while enjoying a cold glass of fizz in the hot Tub is a must, while looking out onto glorious meadow land. The hot Tub itself is a revelation, we’ve always shied away from them but this one is immaculately clean and checked and water cleaned twice a day....just brilliant! We are absolutely sold on a future staycation now, as we (me, husband and daughter) have enjoyed every second of this beautiful lodge in an amazing part of the world. Just returned back with my wife from a lovely peaceful weekend in Suffolk county side. We stayed in the Lilly Lodge at this resort. We chose the Lilly lodge as the hot tub and outside space is a little more secluded than the others. From the moment we set foot inside the lodge we where wowed. It’s beautifully decorated in a modern and stylish fashion. We couldn’t find anything at all that we could fault. Adequate cutlery, perfectly clean towels, tea, even milk, eggs, bread and chilled water. So that you could at least settle in on first day before needing to go and get essentials. The Hot tubs are cleaned and re filled before each new guest so no need to worry there either. I could go on and on but having stayed in numerous other lodges in the UK we can honestly say that this is the best and must luxurious lodge we have stayed in. Some people have said there is nothing else happening in the area which may be the case but it depends on what your looking for and if peace, quite, relaxation is what you are looking for that’s perfect, if you want more then have a small drive to one of the many places near by such as Southwold, Ipswich etc. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day long

Amazing place to spend a long weekend away couldn't ask for more when we were greeted with all the essentials which was a nice surprise,so peacefull around here in foxglove lodge.

This place is awesome! Spotlessly clean with everything you need. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet in lovely surroundings.

Wow... Our lodge exceeded all expectations; it's immaculately clean, the interior is luxury-spec with hardwood floors, beautiful new decor and furniture, a full kitchen with range stove, hotel-grade bedrooms with heated floor ensuite and standing bath. Our lodge featured an always-on hot tub on the modern veranda that was cleaned daily. We also had complete privacy, the lodge wasn't overlooked and the place was so impossibly quiet - a countryside oasis. WiFi was modern and fast - they appeared to be using Ubiquity Unify networking equipment, which is Enterprise grade. Bluetooth ceiling mounted speakers. Thermostatic heating. Literally everything to make your feel comfortable. We loved our stay here and would come back any time. I think I'll bring my girlfriend next!
