Reportedly the oldest pub in Suffolk - whether true or not, it's certainly a beautiful old building in a quintessential country setting. Service was excellent and menu was simple but perfectly executing using quality ingredients. Covid measures were well set up. Highly recommend grabbing a picnic table and watching the sunset! Nice beers and reasonably priced wine menu too.

DEFINITELY book a table here if you’re in the area. The people who work here are helpful and friendly and so welcoming and the food was amazing - the chicken was delicious and the homemade sauces too. The slaw was simple, but so fresh and flavourful. The other dish I tried was so good too, and the pudding was incredible! Thank you for a wonderful evening :) we had such a good time
