Letheringham Lodge is a beautiful house on a delightful, tranquil estate, ideal for a restful getaway. The cottages are all spotlessly clean, luxurious and cosy, with every detail thought of. The beds are incredibly comfy, the linen crisp and the furniture and decoration tasteful in the extreme. The views are outstanding and one cottage even has its own moated island. Owners Pauline and Matt are born hosts, warm, welcoming and great company. I would happily move in if I could - the place is a little piece of heaven here on earth. As a guest, you have the run of the entire 70 acres on the estate, with the friendly sprocker spaniel of the house, Dotty, willing to be your companion if needed. As if all this wasn't enough, Pauline also makes her own range of candles, soaps, shampoos and conditioners which smell divine. In a long and interesting life, I have rarely come across a more beautiful spot or more delightful owners. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

What a wonderful place to stay in the cottages next door to the lodge. The lodge owners are very welcoming. Accommodation is top notch. Can't fault it.
