friendly staff very nice atmosphere great pub to ho too
Me and the wife were travelling for a night away in Brecon and stopped here lunch. We landed on a 50% off day and for those prices we were shocked just how good the food was! Well worth a visit.
As always the Pic N Shovel never fails to satify the customer, it always has been a lovely cozy place with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food and drink is second to none, the quality is also of very high standards and if you do like a beer whilst watching some sports on a big screen then you'll be happy to know that some lagers are available at £2.50 a pint!. For a pub to charge that given It's 2020 and alcohol prices are increasing fast, is amazing, £2.50!? that's Brilliantly Cheap for a quality pint! 👍
Awesome staff, place is clean tidy and welcoming
Liam and the team do an outstanding job here. The food is outstanding, the service is really good too and whilst it may not seem like a family pub at first glance, they're very good with the children too.
