This is a great campsite that is single occupancy when booked, and a very reasonable price. Chemical toilets and drinking water are available, aswell as a barn with chairs and a couple large fire pits.

This is a beautiful campsite in the middle of the woods. It's rustic but has just enough facilities to make it comfortable. It's single use so only you and your group will be using it while you're there. I was just one person but groups of up to 100 can stay. When you stay you get access to a small barn that has table and chairs and some shelter if you need a sit down inside for a bit. There's also two toilet blocks, mens and womens, a few meters away which both have chemical toilets in them. (You just have to pull the buckets out when you leave and empty them into the septic tank which they'll show you have to do, the whole process was really easy and surprisingly not stinky). There's also a couple of water taps and 3 bonfire pits with benches. That's it as far as facilities go but it's nice that it's not been over developed and retains a lot of natural charm. It's a bit of a walk into the woods. About 30 minutes along the North Downs Way and then a short turn off so it does feel quite remote. You do get dog walkers coming through but once it's dark it was very quiet as everyone had cleared out. As night the wildlife, mainly owls, are quite noisy but it's lovely and there were some planes overhead but that's about it. It's perched up on a big hill with beautiful views down into a small village and the surrounding fields. Unfortunately it was pretty overcast while I was staying but in the right weather it would be stunning. All in all it's a great campsite, excellent value (cost me the £15 minimum for small groups, I believe it's an additional £4.95 per person after that) and the rangers who met me were lovely and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future when I continue on the North Downs Way.

I will say 5* as it looked a really good place, but considering the circumstances of the moment it isn't open, but with all that I have just been and brought a tent and myself and son can't wait for it to open and try it out
