I like this camping site I take my paddle board on the Thames river which is right next to the site and loads to do in the surrounding area

We went here as a last resort with some friends. We were poorly greeted with the miserable receptionists. If you are under the age of 70 this campsite is not for you as the old woman make you feel like you are doing something wrong just by being there. Many children stayed up late till almost midnight making alot of noise and there were far too many of them to be from the same household and they were not social distancing. The old woman who I believe own the place, always exploded over every little thing, did not do a thing about this. When we were leaving my friend's son got out of the car to open the gate and was scoled by them and he thought he had done something wrong when in reality, it was the old bags who had. The road were unsuitable for our caravan and indeed a car. The bogs were revolting and the waste disposal point was the worst I have ever seen. The ground was uneven, the was grass sharp and horrible. The rules were unclear. Oh and, did I mention the people who run the place? My dog peed on the grass and they told me not to let her do so and to go to the park with her instead. If you want to get on their good side, then when she asks you whether you want her to show you to your pich, say yes as she enjoys riding her little mobility scooter or she will glare at you. When booking, I repeatedly told her my post code , but she thought I was from somewhere completely different and had to say it again and again, it was a pain. The only good thing about the place was the location, that was lovely the river was good for fishing and fun the go in boats on. At least the electricity worked. Would not stay again.

Fantastic community based camping site. Their children's day event is amazing, with free events all day long

Generally clean and tidy. Kids play area present. Toilets/showers clean and available. Only issue, which did not like - cars must be removed from site to a separate car park over night. So must take almost everything from car as not sure what might be needed overnight as 2 kids are unpredictable.

This campsite was really nice, lovely location and family friendly. It was nice to have warm showers too, but the facilities often didn't have toilet paper or soap/hand sanitizer. Overall really decent though.
