... Bad experience ..☹☹☹ They tacking your dreams and your hope away .... It is not fair ... to go with the father of your baby to see the baby BOTH because we both have the illusion of seeing him .. illusion of being both for our first scan of our first baby ... and they tell my partner , to my son's father "oh ... no no, you don't have to be in the building, you have to wait in the car" and repeat that like 6 times ... without even stopping talking and let us explaining our feelings and our illusion ..... and because of this ... we refused the scan ... and made an appointment at a private clinic for the scan ... WHERE WE CAN BOTH BE PRESENT !!!!! My question is ... why do they try to remove even the smallest illusion and hope from the human being? .. Why in a private hospital they let us both in ... and in a state hospital they don't let you? where is the difference ? ... me and my partner are one and the same ... we sleep and get up together .we eat together. we share everything together ... if he has something I can have it too ... but come on ... we can't be like this ... at least for these delicate things ... because I wasn't going for an ultrasound for my back .. no ... I was going to see our son for the first time ... and you can't take away that illusion ... I'm sorry ... and also ... also in the sheet that they sent me it said that it is better to go alone not be accompanied (by the mother, the grandmother, the sister) EXCEPT IF THE BABY'S PARENTS CAN ENTER .. .BOTH ,THE TWO WHO ARE THE BIOLOGICAL PARENTS OF THE CHILD.. and get there and they tell you... "Oh no no, you have to go inside alone, and you have to wait in the car" ...come on ..¿serious??. ... it is about our son in which we are both in this ... not just me alone . I don.t make this baby alone ..to be clear .... HE ALSO HAS THE SAME RIGHT AS I TO BE THERE WITH ME AND FEEL THE EMOTION TO SEE OUR CHILD ... SINCE ,,WE HAVE LOOKED FOR AND WANTED IT SO MANY , THIS BABY . THEY CAN'T PLAY WITH OTHERS 'LIVES IN THIS WAY .. If we were fools .. we would have been pleased and said .. ook .. with half a mouth .... and leave unhappy for not being able to go through this , both ... THEY CANNOT REMOVE HOPES .. IT IS NOT FAIR TO PLAY WITH THE FEELINGS OF PEOPLE .... WE ARE NOT ANIMALS ... OR COWS .. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS AND OUR RIGHTS HAVE TO BE RESPECTED ... DON'T TAKE HAPPINESS FROM PEOPLE... WE HAVE ENOUGH WITH ALL WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD ....

They don't treat patients any more, they treat bed numbers and they get these mixed up. Ward nurses change pretty much every day so there is no knowledge of nor rapport with the patient, so the subulties of care are lost. You're lucky if you see the same doctor twice. All in all the 5 days I spent were frustrating and unpleasant. I was discharged (what farce that was) cured of what caused me to be there so reluctantly I have given the one star. If I am ill in future I'd rather go to my local vet

My baby girl was born in Abbey Wing last Saturday and I cannot thank all nurses, midwifes, doctors and ward staff for their amazing approach and assistance throughout the whole process. I was induced on Friday and after night full of painful contractionsm baby was born the following morning. Midwifes were very friendly and sat with me all night assisting with anything I needed, they were very good at explaining stages of the process I was going through. Wonderful team, if you planning on delivering in St. Peter's then you are in a very safe and good hands!

Just took my daughter to st Peter's with a hand injury. I couldn't believe how efficient everything was run. Got booked in, seen, x-ray done, seen again and treated in less than an hour!! I had brought a book to read and a snack for my daughter, ready to spend some time there but unnecessary. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you all the staff, receptionists, nurses, doctors and porters. I only caught one name in Urgent Treatment Center, Leslie (clinical nurse specialist?) . Thank you.
