Right Stays

Really friendly and helpful staff, the renovations are coming along nicely (I've stayed a few times now) the only problem I have is the ignorant guests that steal... For the love of god why the damn toaster? Shameful how some humans can be.

Could not recommend this place less. Check in instructions were unclear - a sign referred to a code being sent in an email, this wasn't the case. Spent 20 minutes standing outside in the rain for the owner to show up (he told me 2 minutes), and once he did he just handed me the key and left. Room was not clean, and lacking in basics - there was milk and sugar, but no kettle, tea or coffee! Shared bathroom was not clean, shower was in very poor condition. No sign of breakfast or anybody else in the morning, so just dropped off the keys and left. This is a cheap B&B, but nonetheless it failed to meet even the most basic of standards.

Worst hotel experience of my life!! Do NOT stay here!! This house was so dirty (especially the bathrooms with bugs, dust, dirt and wee stains), no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. This place is creepy, weird and dirty and reminded me of one of those awful student houses. I could Other guests shouting at each other and finally had enough and decided to leave and book myself into the premier inn down the street. Tried to contact the staff but no luck so I just left. Contacted them afterwards to complain but they refused to give me a refund. Do not make the same mistake as me!! Do not stay here!!

Just don't. Seriously. I didn't have major expectations, just needed a cheap but clean room to sleep in for one night while travelling for work - didn't get the chance to rest properly - see below (the quality of the bead, faulty heating & no sound-proofing). Details: - Check-in @ 3:30PM, check-out @ 10AM (absolutely ridiculous) - arrived at 2PM and was told "Oh, you're a bit early."; - The motel was in heavy-repair-mode when I arrived (workers & dirt everywhere on ground floor, including kitchen that was unusable); - No WiFi (stopped working around 9PM - despite me announcing that I'm travelling for work, so I really needed it to work); - Room was very cold (one of the two radiators wasn't working at all; heating stopped in the middle of the night - it was late-February); - Shower head was not properly attached to the wall; - No towels (not even one) in the bathroom - had to call (3 times before I got an answer) to ask for one; - No carpets in the room (as you would expect with wood-board flooring); - Room's storage cabinets were dirty and water-damaged - unusable; - Very low quality (and heavily used) mattress (old, spring mattress - I suspect a second-hand purchase); - Very low quality (and heavily used) pillows and blanket; - Poor sound-proofing of the room (there was a device that kept circulating water behind the wall next to the bed's headboard) - went to bed at 10PM, woke up several times during the night, couldn't sleep past 4:30AM.

Could not make the booking as my Mother went into hospital... I was promised a refund, currently waiting for it to be paid 2 weeks later... All contact through phone is now being ignored. Would not recommend!!!!
