Clean, comfortable and in a good location. Helpful friendly staff and nice selection of breakfast and evening meals when allowed.
Just wish the unofficial smoking area was further away from main entrance.
Room cold with poor wall heater, bathroom light didn't work, and the water not hot enough to wash hands properly. Left after the time it took to book into the Premier Inn just up the road. Won't be using Travelodge again.
The prices for rooms (especially on the weekend) are really cheap. You essentially get what you pay for, but considering the price, you can't go wrong. Breakfast is okay and the location is good. Close to shops and a short taxi journey to the town centre.
I stayed here with my wife this time last year in an accessible room and vowed we would never stay here again, it was the worse hotel we have stayed in. I wouldn't give it any stars if I had a choice. The toilet was leaking onto the floor of the bathroom and the little waste bin was so rusty, the bottom parted from the top. It was such a disappointment as I was a little upset as I was coming down to scatter both my parents ashes in St. Francis church in Littleton.
Rooms are a bit dated but can't knock it for £30 a night. Fairly large rooms also. Not a central location but it's a nice walk to the centre along the canal.
