I went there today to use the Post Office Document Certification Service to get a document certified for my daughter. The staff seemed to think they were being asked to verify the identity of a person when all that was required was to certify that a copy of a document was a true likeness of the original. They refused to perform the service. I went to Epsom Post Office instead and they completed it there without any problem, but it resulted in unnecessarily wasted time and money. The staff at this office clearly need more training.

They offer the passport check and send service but unfortunately the man behind the counter didnt have a clue what he was doing as he stated i havent dealt with lost or stolen passport applications before and i think you need to report it for a reference number therefore the form is incomplete. I said you do not need this and phoned the passport office to confirm this which they ofcourse did. But I will not be asking him to complete my check and send in fear that he clearly does not know what hes doing. Waste of my time and you shouldnt have half hearted staff behind your counters who only know the very basics....i also sent a letter first class ans asked for proof of postage which he said i had to send special delivery for proof of postage as im just getting a first class stamp. YES I NEED PROOF OF POSTAGE FOR THE FIRST CLASS STAMP PLEASE 😡😡

Absolutely useless and rude. Went to get parcel on the Saturday told it wasn't there after 15 minutes of two different people looking!!! Called up parcel force who told us it was at the post so we went back and funnily enough it was there. The manger is rude and arrogant and we had no apology from him which was especially rude since he was one of the people who was looking. Honestly thought it was awful and will definitely avoid going through them ever again.
