A simple blood test was all that was needed to detect sepsis. Completely missed and sent home with pain killers. Yet again another death down to incompetent staff.
GP out of hours is useless! However after being in another hospital you realise how well organised the L&D is. The staff and consultants are informative. The nursing staff genuinely care for the patients.
You may not feel this way when you are in there but try somewhere else and you will definitely appreciate the care you receive at the L&D.
Nurses are lazy the room my father was in at the stroke ward was never cleaned and made us feel like he was a burden. Now in ward 11 and now no better left in his own mess for hours. This hospital was described as a dump and should be condemned by a relative who is a nurse of nearly 40 years. Tried to speak to pals but only 1 person who said they couldn't help. Now covid is here and no fathers can be at the scan and have to leave half an hour after the birth yet Milton Keynes allows the father at the scan and birth.
Very impressed! After suffering dizzy spells and falling off the loo, I was taken to A and E. Although they instantly suspected vertigo because of my history of stroke they went above and beyond to reassure me by doing CT and MRI scans which thankfully came back clear. All the staff were very friendly and my overnight stay was finished off with a very tasty fish hot pot. Superb! Thanks L&D

Excellent service all round, very professional staff who interact the whole time from cleaners to consultants. A privilege to have been looked after so well.
