Lovely Warm welcome from Sue and her Dog. We stayed in one of the outside self catering builds. Which was lovely, very homely, all the kitchen utensils you would need. Hand Sanitizer in the rooms. Very clean, Felt safe. We had fresh homemade browines snd fresh milk waiting for us in the room. The Browines were to die for(We should of asked for the recipe) Wonderful garden with chickens and fruits and berries. Breakfast was brought over to us and you could tell it was all fresh! Raspberries, Plums Blackberries and poached eggs...Yummy Yummy!
Friendly environment. Lovely beeakfast. Rooms are nice.
Lovely old property out in the countryside. Nice and quiet. Great breakfasts. Nice big room. Host very welcoming. Our only drawback was that the nice big ensuite had a bath, with a hand held shower attachment, (but no curtain), rather than an enclosed shower, which is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Would definitely recommend though.
Great welcome, great large room, very clean and tidy. Great location unless you like a busy city! Recommended.
Simply Excellent in Every Possible Way - The perfect setting for an idyllic rural break, a business trip or a base for a self-catering family holiday.
Sue the lady of the house, is a welcoming and very friendly farmer's wife who looks after her guests superbly as well as taking care of her family and horses. A warmer welcome would be hard to imagine. I cannot recommend Church Hill Farm highly enough.
TOP marks for:
• Great breakfasts in a lovely dining room dating from the 1500s
• Excellent room quality and cleanliness
• Stunning countryside and views and very fresh/high quality towels and bed linen
The farm is right next to the church in the beautiful little village of Lighthorne, which has a great pub called The Antelope which does top end pub food. There’s so much to see and do locally and within short driving distances. There are almost limitless walks and great bird watching opportunities as well as the nearby Motor Museum, if you are a car enthusiast. I would go back again and again as it is a perfect place to be based for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick with plentiful historic places to visit in the wider area. 10 out of 10!
A good selection of rooms are available. Some within the main house and others which are self-catering suites in external buildings.
