We stayed in a family pod which was lovely. The site is very covid safe with clear signage about mask wearing and hand sanitisers. Toilet/Shower blocks were very clean and loved the bird song playing in there. The cafe had a great app system for ordering food and drink. We would stay again in the future.

They have a couple of horses/ ponies that are absolutely covered in flies. Very little shade for them, the need better taking care of. Some more wildlife encouragement like bird boxes or hedgehog huts would be good. I didn't see many or even any dog waste bins. The ponds themselves are nice and the set up for each family (tent/caravan/lodge) is spacious enough. Train tracks are just off to the side but not overly noisy at all. The noisiest part is the waterfall feature in the large pond near the cafe. It's SO noisy and doesn't seem to have a purpose, sends ripples across the water which actually makes focusing on your fishing float slightly harder. Didn't see anyone catching very much at all in my time there.

Currently here now. Excellent place to relax and fish we have been loads in the last few years and are always very happy to stay here. Clean places to stay clean facilities and good fishing. Not to mention the cafe by the lake. 5☆ all round will be back lots more. Thanks summers

Although in pretty setting, the food is incredibly disappointing. Ive never had a good meal here. On my previous visit I chose the duck, which was cooked within an inch of its life! Today I chose sausage sandwich with some kind of relish. The sausage, what there was of it was cold & greasy, the bread stale. Yuk!

Friendly staff amidst coving times and wonderful walks. Appeared to be a great spot for fishing too!
