The space is fantastic as is the scenery. There are Woods for kids to play in and an abundance of swings to keep them entertained. A back to basics campsite which is what we were looking for with the allowance of real wood fires and firepits. we have just returned from a fantastic weekend, full of nature and fun. The staff were amazing and left us logs for when we arrived, they were so helpful and let us leave a little later than 11am which was great with a 8month old and 3 year old. Facilities were basic, but clean. my opinion of camping isn't about the facilities though, it's about life experience. We will be back next year for sure.

Lovely peaceful campsite. Great location with walking trails running through it. We had a dedicated toilet which was clean and well supplied. Drinking water taps at regular points. Kids loved riding bikes through the open spaces and using the tree swings. Would have been better if there was rubbish disposal available rather than having to take it home with us, especially as it's not a cheap campsite. Good communication from owner with plenty of information on local pubs and things to do, only thing missing was the checkout time which is 11am. Would definitely return.

Large open spaces between the tents, so you don't disturb /aren't disturbed by each other. Allows RVs/ Campervans. Facilities are reasonably basic but fine. Rope swings in the trees for the kids etc. and woods all around to explore with blackberries and cherry trees. Nice site. Friendly, helpful owners. Camp fires allowed in the therefore designated spots, at your site. You can bring small fire pits so long as they fit in the camp fire sites ~70-80cm diameter, typically.

Peace and quiet. Almost zero signal. Perfect . Actual social distancing in place. But comes at an above average price. Worth the extra £.

booked for 4 people and 2 dogs, we had a great pitch for our vw campervan, James and Will very pleasant and helpful, James supplies great beer to your pitch, had a lovely campfire every night, site is very peaceful and very clean, even had our own toilet, shower was great too. Also great pub The Sloop 5 min walk away, we went with our dogs and everything was amazing. We will definitely be returning to kitts. jason
