The way a campsite should be. I've camped for years in many places, but Wowo just makes them all look bad. Spacious big fields with fire pits and huge picnic tables, perfectly clean facilities with hot showers and washing up bowls, friendly staff and a great shop for supplies. It also walking distance to a National Trust site, steam railway (that you can hear from the campsite) and plenty of good pubs for lunch. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Superb. Hadn’t been for 10 years but at least as good. 2 nights with 2 friends then 3 with 4 more + 2 kids. The photos say more than I can. Great for nice families and respectful considerate good people. Fab shop well stocked. Generous pitch areas. Fires permitted with logs delivered (don’t spread the woodchip out!). Activities and a lovely walk to The Sloop pub. Recommended.

Just returned from a fab weekend camping. Wowo campsite is great. Toilets and showers always clean & hot running water. The campsite has loads of woods to explore, swings in the trees for the kids. Felt very safe with little ones. We went on a lovely walk to the pub. Friendly staff. There is nothing not to like about wowo.

Amazing campsite, family friendly with great facilities such as toilets and showers, campsite going above and beyond to comply with COVID regulations and keep patrons safe, a fantastic location with streams running throughout and rope swings placed all around the campsite; some even take some exploring to find. This really is a beautiful spacious campsite suited for families and couples alike. Highly recommended

Love this place, large open site, Bell tents to hire if you like, fire pits on many plots, also benches to sit around. The shop is quite well stocked and they have food vans come around most afternoons if you don't fancy cooking. There's rope swings in the trees for the kids to have fun on, and plenty of walks to have. The one down side on our visit was the pub at the end of the walk is closed on Mondays doh
