I have had reason to visit/ interact with this surgery on several occasions and, whilst I have no particular comments on the doctors there, I cannot understate the absolute lack of professionalism exhibited by the reception and general staff there - both in interactions with patients, and with each other. For example, they openly bad mouth, chat and gossip about one another and patients in front of, and whilst there are, patients waiting to be seen to. This is something that appears to be commonplace here.
However, on a recent visit I was fortunate enough to interact with Jack. I made sure to get his name, because his professionalism, respect, and genuine openness/willingness to help struck me. I hardly ever write reviews, but I thought that some kind of recognition was called for here. Were it not for my experiences with other staff members, this would have undoubtedly been a 5 star review.
Really appreciate the care given by this surgery. I have rarely had a problem with it, and this has tended to be about repeat prescriptions.
I have nothing but praise for the doctors, and for the helpfulness of the reception staff. Thank you!
A1 surgery. Have to have regular bloods taken and usually done by Bianca. Pain free and easy.
Sally is incredibly rude on the telephone and can't seem to comprehend the most basic elements of communication such as listening and empathy
I spoke to receptionist Jan and as soon as heard my accent her tone of voice completely changed and she became rude, aggressive and hostile. I even had to pull her up on this. Maybe staff should review the practice equality and diversity policy because its very apparent in the level of customer service to people of colour. Medicine has no place for this kind of nonsense.
