This is definitely the best and quirkiest campsite I have visited. It's family run and felt a lot more welcoming and less commercial than a lot of other sites. There was even a Motocross event in a nearby field on one day so we got to go a watch that which was awesome! Pizza oven was great too. Really confused by the previous review about pizza oven capacity...how much pizza were you cooking!?!?
I stayed here recently and had a great time. Such friendly people and made to feel very at home. Such carefully thought out details such as home made apple juice and pastries to buy and a pizza oven to make pizzas. Would visit again and recommend.
Lovely location but too busy and facilities not able to deal with volume of people with only two toilets (compost) and one shower. There was only one small pizza oven for the entire field (approx 10 tents). Beautiful walks around the area and a lovely stream nearby. Kids had a great time.
Fantastic experience, friendly hosts and a really nice site. The shower worked well and we got used to the compost toilets. Probably needed a second sink though so we could wash pots in a different place to washing hands.
Really nice rural site. Owners are there to help with anything you need!
50 minute walk to Bromyard where local pubs are nice & down to earth.
