Ideally located next to the station. (very) Good value for money for the single room with shared facilities. This isnt a modern hotel and there is no mod-cons but it is fine for a night or two if visiting Portmadoc. Plenty of parking
The bar of the hotel is closed and No breakfast due to covid, but they left instant porridge in the rooms and plenty Tea and coffee
Staff were friendly and pleasant and you just come and go as you please
Didnt really seem a place for families, more geared to travellers just staying the odd night .
Right in the middle of town, close to all amenities. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Great welcoming by the owner. Only 30min away from this view...
Due to Covid the building is almost abandoned.
The bar is completely shut and you must lock the door to the building when entering and leaving. For the moment, they are not serving food but there are many takeouts and restaurants down the road.
All rooms are on the third floor so wouldnt recommend wheelchairs. Rooms are very nice and the beds are so comfortable. There isnt much for children to do other than watch TV.
This hotel does follow covid rules so use hand sanitizer whenever possible. -mask is not required-
Nice size clean rooms with plenty of access to make your own tea and coffee plus a simple snack you can prepare for breakfast. Access to more tea and coffee is available if you need it.
Sian you are doing a good job room very clean comfy bed your dream will immerge .
To all dont let outside appearance put you off overall basic but value for money.
