If you have to go here for a covid vaccination, be sure to take a chair, waterproofs, and an umbrella, as there is no covering or chairs available. You will be made to stand outside in all weathers, as we did, in the rain and got absolutely soaking wet. Enough to cause pneumonia never mind covid. Friends of ours went to another clinic, where not only did they have a marquee, but also chairs for the elderly to use. Maybe St Helliers should take a leaf out of their books.
Thoroughly disappointed in such abysmal organisation.
I went to see the doctor last Friday with a lump in my neck, upon being examined the doctor found another lump so I had blood tests and had to wait till Monday or Tuesday for the results. Tuesday I had a text to say that I had to book another appointment as my blood for the main tests have got lost!!!! The blood test for my kidneys is fine even though it's my neck with the lumps and not my kidney! I phoned to make another appointment because of their mistake and I can't get in now until September 22nd so still have a few weeks of worrying about lumps in my neck. I am absolutely appalled at all this.
Bloody useless! You're better off seeing Doctor Who than going to this GP!
Reception staff are rude, argumentative and unhelpful to the extreme.
On any given day this place resembles a third world medical outlet, crowded, pompous reception staff, GPs that do there best given the allotted time that can only lend to inaccuracy, grubby decor, impartial waiting room environment. Parking is pretty much non existent given the sheer volume of patients, on the whole not good not good at all.....Solution; re-locate re-train, prioritise walk-ins and appointments on scale severity...., to allocate independent space and GPs to accommodate emergency walk-ins to alleviate a more relaxed attitude to appointment time scale.
