Planned to camp here for a week, but Storm Francis decided that we should return home early, which was a shame.
The site is very clean and tidy. The toilets and shower facilities are kept clean with someone coming on site regularly to keep them that way.
Evenings were quite with a fair low noise/no noise policy.
The staff were all friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We took a bit of damage to our tent due to extremely strong winds, so made the decision to leave early. While we were packing up we were offered the loan of an alternative tent, which was great service but only being an hour from home, we decided to decline the offer given the weather conditions.
Really enjoyed our stay on the site and will definitely look to go back again in the future.
Beautiful lodge with beautiful views. Ideal place to just chill out with good friends for a relaxing birthday weekend. Thank you Richard and Flick for a wonderful time.
I visited friends glamping here and thought it was not somewhere I would stay. The "tent", it was a wooden cabin with a canvas roof, was lovely. It had a bathroom with shower, heating, a hot tub outside, everything was great. My only criticism there were no comfortable seats outside just a wooden table and benches and a wooden sofa with cushions which wasn't comfortable. There was nowhere you can walk to village, pub etc.
Very well maintained campsite, facilities were kept extremely cleaned. Witnessed shower rooms and toilets cleaned regularly with steam cleaners. Only 1 washing up basin available, would have been better to have more. Good, well drained flat pitches.
Amazing new camp site. Toilet and shower facilities are modern and well kept. The site is well thought out and the Glamping!!! Well they look fabulous but not tried those. So peaceful.
