Very rude receptionist. Was just sent up by the pharmacy because the surgery hadn't passed down the prescription as promised. Receptionist cut me off (twice) when I tried to explain and said she wouldn't speak to me without an appointment.
Rang in this morning for repeat prescription for my mother. Didn't have to wait long to speak to receptionist and receptionist was very polite and helpful.
Poor quality of services provided by this place. The doctors are not very compassionate and the care is not person centred. Waiting times on the phone for an appointment is abysmal. They seem to fob off patients without communicating properly. Whoever is in charge here and works here have quite low standards of work. One of the poorest practices I have ever come across.
:-( Slightly disappointed, just registered with this practice and having seen lots of reviews some not very positive we thought we would see for ourselves. I realise the receptionists are very stressed and have their hands full but as they are first point of call I think a little more pleasantries would have gone a long way. First time at the practice told to go and have our weight and blood pressure done at machine, no problem but once handed forms over there was no "welcome to our centre is there anything you need to know such as times, what Dr's are at the practice or what services they offer? This is a real shame, first impressions count please please practice manager have a word or just a little training would certainly go a long way on customer/patient care.
Dr Ash and Dr McGregor are excellent also 1 of the receptionist is very friendly and helpful but there are 2others that would be better suited working in a prison very abrupt and cold
