This post office is just diabolical. Avoid at all costs if you can. Unfortunately it’s the most local post office to me, but I will now be finding a new one. The staff are incredibly rude - I have had times where I am stood at the counter, waiting for them to finish conversations amongst themselves to see to me. They give you a sense of your presence is disturbing them. Today, I have tried to rush in and send a gift, before I start work, to ensure it arrives on time. My original plan was to give this gift in person, but due to national lockdown I was in this position. I don’t think I will be alone in this circumstance. Despite the woman being behind the counter, it firstly took her 10 seconds to acknowledge me. Then I was told she not open until 9am (7 minutes time). Pull yourselves together, show some empathy and respect. It’s customers who are keeping your business open.

Very rude and totally unprofessional!!! We use this post office to send many parcels for our business and many parcels have been sent using the wrong service thus delaying deliveries ( yes it is the fault of the ppl working there if you pay for an extra royal mail service which is not fulfilled by the staff because they are too busy having an attitude ).Don't believe the fake reviews the only good part of this post office is the convenience store which house it and it has nothing to do with the post office!!!!! Yes one of the lady working at the counter is extremely rude , is unprofessional and has an attitude and even make belittling comments !!!!!AVOID EDIT: Another reviewer mentioned that lady being miserable and the fact that she must hate life ...i couldn't have put it better myself!!

I hate using this post office even though it's the closest to me. The woman is so rude and uninterested. Told me she 'doesn't get paid to give receipts'. Horrendous service. I now travel to the post office at Lindsworth Approach where they are always great. The positive review on here is obviously fake as everyone I know who uses this post office feels the same as me!

Honestly, is service with a smile too much to ask. I always feel as if I'm bothering the lady behind the counter who has far better things to do than serve me! Kept waiting also until 8.50 even though website says 8.30 opening. Not good enough. Would have given one star, but the people who serve in the rest of the shop are polite and professional. Might start going to a different post office...

I'm not sure if the previous reviews and my own experience are for the same Post Office? I have found all of the staff in store to be extremely helpful, polite and customer focused. As for the Post Office counter, the "lady with glasses" has always been a delight to deal with. She is polite, acknowledges a longer than usual wait and is always smiling. People need to stop expecting a red carpet to be rolled out, just because they are a customer or require a service. Also, the people who work at this Post Office and shop are human beings. Treat them as such and you will be treated the same way, if you're a misery expect the same in return. Thank you to all at the Post Office on the Green, you deliver a critical, community service.
