What a fantastic, clean and spacious campsite! We loved the showers (hot and powerful), space and location (some great walks nearby amongst other things). Staff were very helpful and friendly and there was a well stocked shop. We ate one night at a paella van that came to the site and then the next night at a barbarian grill. Yummy! An ice cream van came to the site too. I asked my 5 year old what his favourite thing was "easy.... toasting marshmallows on the camp fire". Absolutely one of my favourite bits too! Will definitely will be come back again next year!

Camped here for the weekend with friends and had a lovely time. Big field, beautiful countryside, nice walks along the River Thames. Was really impressed by how clean they kept the facilities, the showers were really great and powerful too. You can hire a fire-pit, which made the evenings idyllic. Other campers were respectful and were nicely distanced apart. Definitely would recommend to first time campers like me.

A Lovely quiet campsite with plenty of space, the field is flat and pitches are well spread out. Philip is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. The campsite shop is well stocked with local meat and fresh veg from Philip's own veg patch. Lovely to be able to have open fires and easy to rent a fire pit and buy the wood from the shop. Great local pubs and a nice walk in the woods next to the site. Facilities are basics but very clean and plenty of hot water for the showers.

We spent three days camping at this marvellous camp. Everything was clean and orderly. The owner suggested a few easy walks through the woods and by the river. And our strolls were full of churches, meadows and pubs. All in all, a great escape from the city.

Had a fantastic couple of days at this campsite! It is a beautiful setting next to a wooded area that offers great views, shaded walks and a pleasant route down to the local village. Staff are very friendly, there's always someone available to help and the shop is stocked with local produce. The facilities are excellent - very clean! We particularly liked the visit from the ice cream van and will definitely book again!
