The pitch is not wide enough, the grass was long the toilet block was the worst I have seen in my 35 years of touring , it was not clean. I never met any staff the whole week I was there, no one in reception when we arrived had to find our own pitch, not given any information about the site or the surrounding area, wifi was an extra charge, could not buy a pint of milk or any other essentials in the shop with shops not close this was not good .for £30 a night this site is a total RIP off ,would not recommend this site and we will NEVER visit again
Had a walk around well kept cite shop was closed but looked good
Lovely clean site. Owners are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, especially if you want something a little less touristy and quieter. Within easy walking distance of Bassenthwaite lake.
It is so far away from my current home
Staying on a serviced pitch in our motor home. So far so good. The backdrop of Skiddaw is fantastic
