Cornford House Surgery and Fulbourn Health Centre

I have so many wonderful things to say about Cornford House. As someone who is new to the UK and the health services here, I did not know what to expect. However, I feel that the doctors and nurses genuinely care about my well-being and always do their best to help out. I've never had to wait more than a week for an appointment. All the staff are professional and polite. I appreciate the flexible hours for coming to get blood drawn. I also think they have done a great job of adapting to the challenges presented by the Covid pandemic.

I cannot fault the Doctors and Nurses themselves. They are amazing and supportive. They listen to your problems and never ever leave you in pain or struggle. There is also 1 gentleman on reception who is kind and caring as well. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing about the surgery. The receptionist!! Its seems to be all of the ladys that are so very rude !! When you phone the doctors for an appointment, they are the first people you speak too, they are meant to be kind and welcoming.... not at this surgery !! They are not polite, they are rude, they interrupted you when you talking. Ladys... you are our first point of call, without you we cannot book an appointment. Us patients rely on you, please please please do not treat us patients like dirt!!! And you wonder why patients give you abuse?? Its because you don't show any support to your patients We all understand you have worked as hard as doctors in this terrible time but is it right of you to treat us like dirt ?? Just because we are key works ?? Remember some of us are !! Its not just you !! Plus you dont no who is on the other end of that phone. This person might have a serious illness or mental health issues. And with you talking to them in such a way can set them off. This could end up in so many different way or end badly.... all because you cannot be kind or polite or supportive and understanding. Please ladys help us and we will help you
