I turned up at 1:15 pm to drop off a pre-paid parcel - only to find that the post office was closed, because the only employee who could operate the post office till was at lunch. When I asked how long it might be before they were back, I was told "about an hour". Advertised opening hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm. I understand that everyone needs to eat and take an occasional break. But if only one person can operate the post office till, how about writing the lunch break into your hours, and ensure that people will be served when they turn up during the advertised times? The Hazelwood Close post office is about ten minutes' walk away, and is both friendlier and more reliable.

The lady at the till is very rude and discriminating! There are two tills next to each other in the shop, shop till and post office till. When I want to withdraw some cash from the shop, She asked me to go to other shops for cash backs even though there is plenty in the post office till. She constantly ignored me when I said “thank you “etc to her. I was in the shop doing the post service paperwork, she didn’t tell me the postal orders were sold out and she refused to give me some help about getting more from the stock!When I ask how to make a complain she refused to answer and stop serving other customers! The shop offer extremely low service standards! Unbelievable!!

Old lady there was fine with the lady in front but the moment she served me her attitude completely changed before I even spoke. Made me wonder whether it was my appearance that she had an issue with. Not going again.

Very rude lady at the post office counter. She seems fine with some people but all three times I had interactions with her she was openly and deliberately unpleasant. Can't be bothered with Hellos, Thank Yous and other niceties, very short and almost throws your parcels at you. The post office itself is absolutely unreliable now. Can be closed unexpectedly or run out of labels or have problems with printers. Of course you are told this after you queued for 20 min. I so miss the young guy who used to work there. It was one of the best post offices with him at the counter. Now I recommend avoiding this place if you don't need additional stress in your life, don't take pleasure from watching people being nasty and value your time.
