We visited a few times during our mid week stay, every time the service was perfect. I’ve never been greeted by such genuine friendly staff. They had it just right, and helped us get settled with our 9 month old baby. Everything was efficient and well thought through. The food was great, and we enjoyed speaking to the staff. They made time for us. The service was consistently good for each visit. Staff training or staff selection is spot on. We spoke to one member of staff about his own baby and he took time to chat and laugh with us when one of us was off with the baby. I am someone that can easily pick faults in good service, but I can’t fault the staff here, it was outstanding.

Came here on the last evening of our break with a table for 7 booked for 8.50pm. Greeted by what I assumed to be the assistant manager to be told our table wasn’t yet ready and asked us to sit on the chairs outside to wait whilst handing us our menus. No offer of drinks while we waited. Come 9.05pm we approached a waitress to ask if our table was ready yet - she then disappeared and started serving other people! Tried to get the attention of the assistant manager but he seemed to avoid eye contact and ignore us. At this point we approached what we assume was the manager at the bar who apologised profusely and sat us at our table. From that point onwards the experience was better. Fantastic waiter and lovely food. To summarise, great food but the attitude of some of the staff (namely the assistant manager who initially seated us) requires urgent attention. You can’t seat a party of 7 (3 young children included) outside and then ignore them!
