Excellent place to watch football and the bar is very popular as its in the middle of town always busy with friendly staff.
Perhaps I was there on a bad night. I would have left immediately if it wasn't for the fact I was meeting a friend there. Is described in one of the other reviews, there is a distinct aroma when you enter. It wasn't a quick visit and by 23:00 there was a visible different in the types of customers coming and going. The volume was turned up to full between the customers sitting with each other but the long distance conversations were great to listen to. Much of the conversations are not for little ears.
In a town with very little quality to offer visitors in the evening I can see how this bar has its attractiveness.
Will I go back? Perhaps for memory sake, for another catch-up with friends, definitely not.

I love this place very friendly staff and a great place to meet up with friends .
Great town pub. Great bar prices. Probably cheapest in town. Well worth a visit.
